FAQ kit solaire pour balcon - Sunflower Solar

A question?

Welcome to our FAQ. We are very happy to count you among our customers. We have tried to answer the most common questions.

Do I need permission for my Sunflower installation?

Installing a solar panel on your balcony does not require any building permit or prior work authorization. However, it is necessary to check that the installation of this photovoltaic module does not contravene the co-ownership regulations. As a tenant, the same regulations apply. You can absolutely install a Sunflower kit if nothing prohibits it in the co-ownership regulations. When purchasing a Sunflower kit, you will simply need to declare it to your supplier by following our guide (hyperlink guide).

Can I place my Sunflower kit anywhere?

Generally speaking, the installation of a Sunflower kit on a balcony railing must comply with current safety standards and must be done while respecting the precautionary measures which appear in its installation guide (hyperlink guide). If, however, you decide not to place your kit on a balcony but on the ground at a height greater than 1m80 from the ground of your building (on your roof for example or attached to a facade), installation will require a prior request to the town hall.

I love my Sunflower kit, I want to put it everywhere, is that possible?

If you are also a fan of self-consumption with Sunflower, it is in fact possible to expand your installation by adding one or more kits to your current installation. However there are limits to respect, the total power of your kits cannot exceed 3 KWp if you do not wish to take additional administrative steps. A total power of 3 KWp is the equivalent of approximately 6 Sunflower 440W kits.

How much money can I save on my electricity bill?

Our Sunflower 440W kits generate on average 625 Kwh per year for a station installed with a southern exposure in the PACA region. Depending on your electricity rate, this translates into around €170 of electricity per year. However, even if at Sunflower we guarantee you a quality product, we cannot guarantee ideal weather conditions all year round. Your total savings will therefore fluctuate depending on your solar exposure and your local electricity rates.

Do I need to maintain the solar kit?

Sunflower kits require minimal maintenance. It is generally advisable to check the fixing of the panels in the event of damage as well as to keep the panels clean by cleaning any debris that may cling to them.

What happens if the panels are damaged?

Thanks to the Sunflower guarantee, your kit will be automatically replaced in the event of defects. Our after-sales service teams are available to assist you if you notice an anomaly when your order arrives or throughout the life of your kit.

Quels sont les délais de livraison ?
